# Billing and Payments

> Manage subscriptions, payment methods, invoices, boosts, and budgets

Billing is managed for the team. Your team's payment method covers Righthand subscriptions and any Usage Boosts or other billed usage.

## Payment method and invoices

1. Open the **Account** menu.
2. Select **Team settings**.
3. Select **Billing**.
4. Choose **Card** to add or update the payment method.
5. Choose **Invoices** to open recent hosted invoices.

## Righthand subscriptions

Open the [billing dashboard](https://teams.righthand.ai/team-settings/billing) to review each Righthand's plan, monthly subscription cost, status, and current weekly usage.

Current plans are:

* **Starter:** \$99 per month with 1x usage capacity.
* **Pro:** \$199 per month with 4x usage capacity.

Change an individual subscription from the Righthand's **Manage → Plan** page. Plan changes apply immediately and are prorated for the current billing cycle.

## Usage Boosts

When a Righthand needs more capacity before the next weekly reset, the subscriptions table can offer a **Usage Boost**. A boost is a one-time **\$39** charge that adds 1x capacity for the rest of the current billing cycle.

The confirmation dialog shows the Righthand, charge, and payment method before purchase. A payment method must be on file.

## Budgets and monthly cap

Use **Team settings → Budget** to manage team and per-Righthand budget limits. The billing dashboard also exposes a monthly cap for the total you can be billed in a month, including subscriptions and usage beyond them.

The monthly cap cannot be lower than the team's subscription total because subscriptions are billed whether or not all included capacity is used. Leave the cap blank for no cap.

## How subscription usage works

* Each Righthand has a flat monthly subscription with a weekly usage allowance.
* The weekly allowance resets every Sunday.
* Righthand sends usage notices at 80%, 95%, and the limit.
* Work paused at the limit resumes after the weekly reset.

## Troubleshooting

    Open **Team settings → Billing → Card** and update the payment method. If the card is current, ask the card issuer about the decline before retrying.

    Check **Team settings → Billing → Invoices**. If the expected invoice is not listed, contact support with the team name and billing period.

  <Accordion title="A Righthand stopped working">
    Review **Team settings → Usage** and the Righthand's Activity. If the weekly limit was reached, buy a Usage Boost, change the plan, or wait for the Sunday reset.
