After hiring, open Righthands and select a Righthand to see their profile. Their phone number and email address are shown there, along with controls for contacting and managing them.
Use the contact actions on the profile to text, call, or email your Righthand. You can also save their contact details and reach them from your usual messaging, phone, or email app.
Write naturally and include the outcome you want, relevant context, and any deadline. For example:
Review the customer feedback from this week, group the recurring issues, and send me a summary by 3 PM tomorrow. Ask before contacting anyone outside the team.
Give your Righthand the same context you would give a human teammate: what success looks like, where source material lives, and which decisions require your approval.
Follow work in Activity
Open Activity on a Righthand’s profile to review that Righthand’s work. The activity view can include messages, calls, emails, calendar activity, reminders, workflow runs, and the steps the Righthand took while working.
Use the team-wide Activity page when you want one feed across all Righthands. Use an individual profile’s Activity when you want to focus on one Righthand.
Check responsibilities and connections
- Responsibilities shows the ongoing work assigned to the Righthand.
- Connections shows the accounts and services available to that Righthand.
- Manage contains individual configuration, including communication policy, plan, model, Slack, and GitHub.
If a task depends on a service the Righthand cannot use, open Connections and confirm both that the service is connected and that this Righthand has access.
When approval is required
Two settings can require approval:
- A connection tool set to Ask requires approval before that tool is used.
- A communications channel set to Ask requires explicit approval before an outward action on that channel.
See Connection Permissions and External Communications for the exact controls.
If work appears stuck
- Open the Righthand’s Activity and look for a question, approval request, or error.
- Confirm the required connection is active and assigned to the Righthand.
- Check usage to see whether the Righthand has paused at its weekly limit.
- Send a short follow-up with the missing decision or context.
If the Righthand still does not respond, contact support@humans.righthand.ai with the Righthand’s name and the approximate time of the task.
