Overview

When you call your Righthand, they need a way to verify it’s really you — not someone spoofing your phone number to gain access to your accounts. Voice Authentication passphrases solve this by giving you a secret phrase that only you and your Righthand know.

How It Works

You set a passphrase that your Righthand will ask for when you call. If the caller provides the correct passphrase, the Righthand knows it’s you and proceeds normally. If the caller can’t provide it, the Righthand will not grant access to sensitive information or take actions on your behalf. This protects you from scenarios where someone spoofs your phone number and attempts to interact with your Righthand as if they were you.

Setting Your Passphrase

  1. Click on your name and icon in the bottom left of the screen.
  2. Go to User Settings.
  3. Set or update your voice authentication passphrase.
Choose a passphrase that is easy to say and verify over the phone, but not easily guessable. Avoid common words or phrases.
